Responsibilities:
·The accountant II is responsible for preparationand posting of monthly journal entries; entire escheatment process; monthly andquarterly sales tax prepayments and filing for CHOC and CHOC Foundation;CHOC Foundation monthly TR roll-forward and revenue reconciliation; monthlyfixed assets depreciation and additions/retirements for all companies as wellas reconciling the monthly fixed asset roll-forward.
·Will monitor all CIP activities andreconcile through collaboration with various department. Prepares all schedulesfor the interim and annual audit of fixed assets; monthly varianceexplanations for fixed asset balance sheet accounts; provide annualdepreciation expense projection to Financial Planning for budgetpurposes.
·Will provide various state and local propertytax filings (571L, ACE) including welfare exemptions, annual security review ofAsset Management in Lawson as applicable.
Requirements
Qualifications:
·Required: Minimum two (2) years of Accounting orFinance Experience.
Education:
·Required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting,Business or similar. Equivalent experience in lieu of education may be accepted.
·Preferred: Master's Degree Training
Specialized Skills:
·Required: Spreadsheet skills, word processing,computerized financial systems. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MicrosoftWord.
·Exceptional verbal and written communicationskills; interpersonal relationship and collaboration skills.
